The SAF21 network gathered for the official midterm evaluation in Reykjavík last week. The ESRs, seniors and partner organisations were joined by Project Officer Linda Curzola and Monitor Gercende Courtois de Vicose from the EU Research Executive Agency.

Project Coordinator Melania Borit delivered a detailed report on the progress of the project, after which all of the ESRs presented their individual projects, progress and training.

The Project Officer and Monitor also spoke to the ESRs in small groups to make sure that the projects were going well and the ESRs thrived in their positions.

The meeting ended with a dinner for all participants at Restaurant Reykjavík.

The ESRs used the opportunity of the meeting to get some social media training at Matís and to go some real life experience of life on the sea. For a fun video of the meeting, check out our video:
